About us

Established in 2018, Culture Bridge is a CIC Limited community group facilitating a dialogue of communication and trust between cultures and the advancement of education of the public. We aim to push our limits through ideas and creations.

Since 2018, Culture Bridge’s successfully managed to run 3 regular art and culture workshops:   Refugee Connect, Women art and culture, and Children Art & Culture. We recently established the Kurdish school, “Nishtiman”.

We believe we can build our community together, through sharing our art and cultural talents and experiences. Most of our volunteers are lived experience migrants and refugee artists and musicians from Iran, Iraq and Kurdistan.

Over the past five years, CB has grown beyond just the Kurdish community, for example, over the past 2 years we have been supporting Hongkongers. CB works exclusively in Stockport and the City of Manchester. CB aims to: • Create a safe space for refugees, migrants and asylum seekers. • Share their experiences of art and cultural heritage. • Help people integrate into the community and feel included.
