Kurdish - Mother Tongue Language

Nishtiman School is for children age 5-16 who are interested in learning how to read and write Kurdish Language in Manchester. We have a special program for the children to learn about art & Culture from their county of birth and the English culture. We have drama, filmmaking, music, football, picnics and other activities for children and their families to participate together at the workshops.

Our team consists of lived experience-refugees, asylum-seeking and migrants artists, teachers and musicians. We know how hard it is to experience refugee life and try to integrate into society, with no language and no connections. We use our past experience to help others find better opportunities to study, find jobs and feel belonged.
